The theme of Gwangju Design Biennale 2007, “L.I.G.H.T,” refers to the light of designs lighting humanity and nature, and advancing toward the future. Now designs are cultural, social phenomena beyond political and economic actions. Design is cultural, social implementation for the humanity’s prosperous, aesthetic life.
